Service in the midst of crisis: I had scheduled to get my tires changed but then cancelled in light of the "Stay at home" orders. However, Naomi called and explained they were considered an essential service. She then wondered if I would like to reschedule. She explained thoroughly the safety measures they were taking, including disinfecting the inside of the car before servicing it and again afterwards. Not only was I impressed; my wife said Matthew's Auto should be the poster service of Gov. Cuomo's Pandemic initiative. In light of this, my wife was willing to let me go ahead and schedule the tire change. As described, the office was locked, but Naomi came out and disinfected the loaner car which was ready for me. The service was efficient, courteous and meticulous, including not only the changing of the tires, balancing and a road test, but also a complete inspection and the replacement of the license plate bulb which I didn't even know was out. Payment was over the phone and, when I picked it up, the car had been disinfected again and the very reasonable bill was waiting on the seat.
